Finding people to go to festivals with!?

Hey..my friends don't share the same musical taste as me and im looking for new people to go to festivals with and make some mates along the way.

Does anyone know what the best way to go about this is? Don't really want to turn up at a gig/festival on my own (even if the set is sick haha).

Going to a festival without my family

I’m going solo to a festival this upcoming weekend and I can’t help but feel anxious about leaving my wife and two kids for a few days. I love the festival scene and going to live music events is my passion, nothing beats it. Been an active festival goer for almost 10 years. But now that I’m older and have a wife and kids they’re constantly on my mind. I get real bad anxiety being away from them and it kind of hinders the experience. My kids are too young right now to bring to a camping festival (3 year old and 4 months old) so that isn’t really an option. Does anybody else get those same feelings? Going to rock fest in Wisconsin this summer!

I'm super stocked to finally see disturbed and evanescence! However it's been years since I've been to a multi day festival. Any tips? I'm have a ticket for general admission so I'll be way in the back but it's still better then nothing.
