Is Leeds Fest Camping+ worth it?

Has anyone who’s been to Leeds fest stayed in the camping+ and thinks its worth it?

The worries some of the group are having that the nightlife wouldnt be as good, but we know people outside of the vip area we could sit with, and we want luxuries of the showers and added security.

Others are saying however that the security is barely there and that its pointless, but the main pull seems to be that apparently the shower facilities and toilets are much better in VIP and actually usable after friday night

Anyone able to confirm whether its worth the extra £100, or if we’re better off going normal camping and if so, is the refresh retreat pack more reasonable?

Etymotic Foam vs. Custom Earplugs

I'm trying to decide if custom earplugs are worth it for me... So I've been to concerts in the past, and I typically use Etymotic ER20XS earplugs with foam tips. I usually try to be close to the front (and usually end up off to the side), so maybe the sound would be different if I go further back and toward the center, but I find that with the foam tips, the sound ends up super bassy and the vocals become a little hard to understand. Is that a product of where I'm standing in relation to the speakers, or is that just the nature of foam tips? Could I expect to see a difference with custom earplugs?
