Hey everybody hope you’re safe, so I’ll keep it short as.This is about MADE festival in Birmingham

Baso, me and my partner devastatingly broke up with each other. I bought my own ticket to go to this thing (with her) and now obviously won’t be going with her, (wether she’s going or not I dunno, whatever ) but yaknow, been thinking screw it , I’ll still go to this festival, I just love music man, be a shame to waste the ticket and opportunity to go still.

Was wondering if anyone’s gonna be going solo wants to say hello, or even just show their face so we can give each other a supportive nod as we meander our way around, would be decent

Etymotic Foam vs. Custom Earplugs

I'm trying to decide if custom earplugs are worth it for me... So I've been to concerts in the past, and I typically use Etymotic ER20XS earplugs with foam tips. I usually try to be close to the front (and usually end up off to the side), so maybe the sound would be different if I go further back and toward the center, but I find that with the foam tips, the sound ends up super bassy and the vocals become a little hard to understand. Is that a product of where I'm standing in relation to the speakers, or is that just the nature of foam tips? Could I expect to see a difference with custom earplugs?
