Logistics for Sunday at Isle of Wight Festival 2022

Hello! Looking for advice as first time festival goers. We would love to see Muse at the Isle of Wight Festival next year. I feel pretty comfortable with buying a day ticket, making our way over from London on Sunday morning, but I'm just not sure what to do for accommodation and transport while at the Isle of Wight. All hotels in Newport are already sold out, and there are a few AirBnBs left in Cowes. We won't have camping supplies with us.

  1. Would we be able to catch a bus after Muse performs to Cowes? Not sure how late they'd go, but I'm guessing it'd be after midnight. Ideally we could drop off our stuff somewhere and walk to the festival (don't mind an hour walk).
  2. Would it be too much of a hassle to stay in Portsmouth/Southampton and get to the accommodation some time early morning after the concert? Again, buses and ferry schedules would be a wild card.

Any tips/considerations would be welcome!

Honestly the logistics of all of this (and costs adding up) is making me question if we should just wait for Muse to go on an actual arena tour and see them then.

Thank you!
