Questions for those who have been to Peach Fest in Scranton

Hi all, I'm curious about a few things regarding camping/entry at Peach.

  1. I see there is an onsite parking for camping pass. Is this lot also the camping lot? Or is camping somewhere separate you will have to walk your things to after you park?
  2. Wherever the camping lot is, is it part of the whole venue? In other words, from the campsite do you have to pass through another gate/checkpoint to get to the area where all the main stages are?
  3. Where in the process does the search occur if you are camping, non-RV? Is it a typical car search? Or if you have to walk to the campsite, would you be searched along the way?

Etymotic Foam vs. Custom Earplugs

I'm trying to decide if custom earplugs are worth it for me... So I've been to concerts in the past, and I typically use Etymotic ER20XS earplugs with foam tips. I usually try to be close to the front (and usually end up off to the side), so maybe the sound would be different if I go further back and toward the center, but I find that with the foam tips, the sound ends up super bassy and the vocals become a little hard to understand. Is that a product of where I'm standing in relation to the speakers, or is that just the nature of foam tips? Could I expect to see a difference with custom earplugs?
