camping festival question

This is kind of a difficult question to ask, so bare with me! I have never been to a camping festival and thats on the to-do list this year!! We have a pop up tent on the back of our truck, and dont know how to buy tickets for camping. (In particular, were looking at Wakaan but open to suggestions close-ish to TX) If im buying a ticket for a camping festival, is my setup considered “tent camping” or “car camping” or something else?? Lol i have no idea what our tent /truck combo qualifies as and want to make sure i dont fuck myself over by buying the wrong ticket!

If anybody has a similar setup or any info to share it would be greatly appreciated! PLUR 💖

Etymotic Foam vs. Custom Earplugs

I'm trying to decide if custom earplugs are worth it for me... So I've been to concerts in the past, and I typically use Etymotic ER20XS earplugs with foam tips. I usually try to be close to the front (and usually end up off to the side), so maybe the sound would be different if I go further back and toward the center, but I find that with the foam tips, the sound ends up super bassy and the vocals become a little hard to understand. Is that a product of where I'm standing in relation to the speakers, or is that just the nature of foam tips? Could I expect to see a difference with custom earplugs?
