Choosing campsite at Pukkelpop

Hey hey,

I'm going with friends to Pukkelpop, first time in a music festival in Europe.

We're debating which campsite to stay. We don't have our own equipment, so these are the options:

  1. Camp Relax: The free camp site. "Walking distance" from the festival area. 110€ for a double tent.
  2. Camp Chill: Costs 30€, accross from the campsite. 110€ for a double tent.
  3. Camp Comfy: 2 minutes walking from the festival, "location in a quiet area", "quipped with individual showers and toilets, lockerstand free wifi, a 24hr reception desk, a cosy lounge area, a bar ....". 210€ for a double tent.

We're not sure what to expect from each, how do we choose one? what's the atmosphere in each?

Etymotic Foam vs. Custom Earplugs

I'm trying to decide if custom earplugs are worth it for me... So I've been to concerts in the past, and I typically use Etymotic ER20XS earplugs with foam tips. I usually try to be close to the front (and usually end up off to the side), so maybe the sound would be different if I go further back and toward the center, but I find that with the foam tips, the sound ends up super bassy and the vocals become a little hard to understand. Is that a product of where I'm standing in relation to the speakers, or is that just the nature of foam tips? Could I expect to see a difference with custom earplugs?
