Best community-oriented festival somewhere in between mainstream and underground?

I remember going to Camp Bisco in 2015/2016 and thinking it was the perfect festival. They had very popular artists, but not huge who had incredible sets (RL Grime, Keys n Krates, Marshmello after Joytime and before all the radio stuff, 12th Planet, Troyboi) and their headliners were also incredible like Odesza. Plus the thing was at a water park, which created a very unique and memorable experience.

The best part was the community though. Vibes were incredible. My phone died and I ended up playing soccer with strangers and drinking wine until my friends found me. Bisco was more under the radar so you didn’t get too many influencer types but not so underground that the artists were unknown and people were pretentious.

What is today’s festival equivalent? Popular but not crowded, community oriented, and somewhere between underground and mainstream?

I’ve heard good things about Electric Forest and Holy ship for example but curious to hear this group’s thoughts.
