Some artists like Kendrick Lamar are not worth it

Long story short : I took a day off and paid 100€ to go see Kendrick Lamar at the Les ardentes festival in Belgium and the guy sucks .

He came 2 min before (saw his car) performed 1h03 instead of 1h30 . Left with barely any good bye . Didn’t bother out ANY ENERGY at all in his performance .

So yes of course his tracks are mad so everybody was loving it .

But id rather go listen to him in a club without his presence then! At the end i booed him. A few followed and many others asked to stop.

People are just sheep. Someone came , gave a soulless performance literally pissing on us with his « I came, sang, pay me » probably took north of 500k€ and we should be clapping ?

I’ve been to maybe 30 concert in my life including 50 cent , snoop , busta rhymes and he was the worst of the worst.

Etymotic Foam vs. Custom Earplugs

I'm trying to decide if custom earplugs are worth it for me... So I've been to concerts in the past, and I typically use Etymotic ER20XS earplugs with foam tips. I usually try to be close to the front (and usually end up off to the side), so maybe the sound would be different if I go further back and toward the center, but I find that with the foam tips, the sound ends up super bassy and the vocals become a little hard to understand. Is that a product of where I'm standing in relation to the speakers, or is that just the nature of foam tips? Could I expect to see a difference with custom earplugs?
