Wondering if anyone has snuck into listen out and how hard is it and any tips to sneak in for the brisbane one ? submitted by /u/tembe27 [link] [comments] source https://www.reddit.com/r/festivals/comments/xrooad/sneaking_into_listen_out/
I know this sounds dumb my question is can sniffer dogs smell vodka or will it set them off? This is a Australian festival btw so they make you empty your bag and no liquids from outside are allowed in. Thinking about carrying it on me. I don’t want to be searched by police and get kicked out but also don’t want to pay almost $15 for one drink 🙄 Thank you! submitted by /u/sailormidget [link] [comments] source https://www.reddit.com/r/festivals/comments/xrne0m/sneaking_in_alcohol/

Hi! selling tickets to All Things Go in Maryland on Oct 1st!! GA lawn tickets originally spent around $100 after fees & tax selling for $70 Lorde, Mitski, Bleachers, King Princess, Peach Pit, Hippo Campus, Goth Babe, Faye Webster, Maude Latour, & more! submitted by /u/sarahelisabeth57 [link] [comments] source https://www.reddit.com/r/festivals/comments/xrbiof/all_things_go/
Peach was beyond impressive but this is the festival of the year imo, especially at only $99 a ticket with camping included. Gorgeous amphitheater in the mountains and music below in the Caverns as well. Why isn’t anyone talking about it? Check it out!! I’m going solo because it’s a must-see event and would love to chat and meet people ahead of time who are also planning to attend. submitted by /u/Csacincy46 [link] [comments] source https://www.reddit.com/r/festivals/comments/xqsip2/lets_talk_about_cave_fest_next_weekend/

I remember going to Camp Bisco in 2015/2016 and thinking it was the perfect festival. They had very popular artists, but not huge who had incredible sets (RL Grime, Keys n Krates, Marshmello after Joytime and before all the radio stuff, 12th Planet, Troyboi) and their headliners were also incredible like Odesza. Plus the thing was at a water park, which created a very unique and memorable experience. The best part was the community though. Vibes were incredible. My phone died and I ended up playing soccer with strangers and drinking wine until my friends found me. Bisco was more under the radar so you didn’t get too many influencer types but not so underground that the artists were unknown and people were pretentious. What is today’s festival equivalent? Popular but not crowded, community oriented, and somewhere between underground and mainstream? I’ve heard good things about Electric Forest and Holy ship for example but curious to hear this group’s thoughts. submitted by /u/...

Hey so I’m curious , is it better to put some md in where the sun don’t shine or hide it in your hair ? I’ve read that if it’s high enough it’s out of the dogs sniffing range, or put it in me ? I’m going to vacuum seal the bag a heaps of times as well. Going to a festival here in Australia where I know there will be sniffer dogs & cops ; any advice would help ! submitted by /u/Money-Stretch2011 [link] [comments] source https://www.reddit.com/r/festivals/comments/xmco6m/getting_pass_sniffer_dogs_best_place_to_hide_some/
On the way over to the fest my crew made friends with a fellow fest goer, he befriended us and even bought us shots on the way over. Seemed to be a nice guy. But once we got to the security line they searched my Fanny pack which had gum and earplugs. They pull out a baggy with drugs I’ve never seen before. No one in my crew had these kindve pills Immediately we confronted the new guy and he pretty much flat out admitted to it and started acting super different. It all turned out ok bc I kinda zipped up my bag and booked it. Has this happened to someone before? It’s really shaken up my trust in those random connections I like making at fests. TLDR: guy my crew befriended used me as a drug mule. submitted by /u/ThinkingAbe [link] [comments] source https://www.reddit.com/r/festivals/comments/xmawvc/is_this_common_almost_got_into_deep_shit_at/

I have a couple of problems with festivals as they are today. My first issue is cellphones. I, of course, acknowledge that we live in a modern world and they are a necessity of that world. However, one of the main reasons I love going to festivals is to escape from regular life and the things that tether me to it. Cellphones are one of these things. I find that too many people on their phones recording is distracting from the experience. I find that having to check my phone to try and get my friend's location pulls me out of the moment. Sometimes the cellphone wont even have service at the festival due to overloading of the network but I'm still checking it! My second issue is being able to find my friends. This ties in with the cellphone issue since the only ways to find your friends after getting lost are to try and coordinate via text or setup some meetup point and time. Both of these are not ideal as there is a lot of coordination involved, waiting at meeting points, etc...
