Anybody going to/have been to Gem and Jam have any tips for dealing with goat heads? They really fucked our shit up last year. Maybe we were in a bad spot, but it was rough. Ladies! im an avid festival goer but really feel like bathroom line ups for women is something that haunts me before, during and after every festival. A girl friend of mine recently recommended disposable urination devices that are basically funnels that you can use to pee standing and skip the port-o-potty misery. Hey all, so here I go on a long rant. If you read the title you can imagine where this post is going. I'm not usually active in this sub so much as r/aves or r/ElectricForest , but this is a broad topic and applies to the festival scene as a whole I would believe. As many people know by now Justin Roiland, the co creator of Rick and Morty has attracted a lot of heat in the past week about messages he was sending a minor among other things. It's obviously hard to be objective but from what I've seen, and really looking inward it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. This has been devastating to me. I loved Rick and Morty, it was a show that was with me through very hard times in my early adult life and really felt like it connected me to others who were similarly struggling making sense of their life, the universe, and how to come to terms with it all. Hey everyone. I bought a GA ticket for Envision from a friend. All the pre-pitched tent options are sold out and the hotel and Airbnb costs by the festival grounds are a little more money than I want to spend. I opted to buy a “bring your own tent” pass, but I’m a little nervous. I’ve camped at Tomorrowland in Belgium a couple years, but never in a freaking jungle. Any words of advice? Camping packing list recommendations? Or should I just say f it and get a hotel room? Okay I'm torn. What is yall's opinion? Should I buy Bonnaroo tickets or wait for Electric forest? My 25th is this year, and I want to go to my 1st camping festival. I'm on the waitlist for Electric Forest currently but would love to go to Bonaroo. I will be probably going solo unless I can convince some friends to tag along (i wouldn't mind going solo). The only thing holding me back is that I bought tickets (forever ago) for Illenium's triple set in Denver, (where I live) and that is on the Saturday of Bonnaroo. Let me know what yall think! I have 30-40 people coming to a party separately that will be all over the place at different times, you know how it is. What web tools do you guys use to coordinate? I would really like something that people can log into without an app or device restricted stuff. We ALL hate the 40 person group text... that shit is ridiculous.
