Hi guys, I bought a Boomtown ticket for £300 Wednesday entry via bank transfer off my mates friend via facebook. It took over 2 days to arrive to my via email and i changed my mind because it took so long to arrive and when we messaged the seller to say I dont want it anymore she sent it to me immediately and said she wont give me back my money even when i said just give me £250 back for the 'trouble' i caused even though she couldnt be bothered to send it to me straight away. I cant even sell the ticket via any website as i'm not the original buyer as this apparently protects scams but also fucks over people like me. TLDR; is it weird going solo to a festival and how does one make friends in a festival setting? So next weekend I was to go to a festival with some people but they've bailed last minute as I've come to the realization that I have some flakey ass friends. I still want to go desperately but I find it hard to make new friends, and nobody else I know is going as most people I know don't enjoy EDM. My question is, is it weird going by yourself for 3 days? How hard is it to meet/make friends with people there and how does one go about doing it in an environment like that? For example, I went to lib this year and it was such a fantastic experience for me. Only to hear such negative things about it on social media such as, “this festival is going to shit, it will never be like it use to” it’s very saddening to see people of this community talk down on something that is suppose to bring joy and bring people together. I bought tickets to an edm festival (Imagine Fest) a while ago, and I'm not sure if I'm still going to be able to go. How do I go about selling the tickets? I know you can just ask around, but do you wait for the wristbands to come in and then ship them off? If so how does the payment between selling and buyer work. Flying from the states to Europe in August and would love to do a single-day ticket at a festival. Creamfields and Mysteryland are our top contenders but we're having a hard time choosing between the two. Creamfields feels like the obvious choice as it's bigger and the lineup is fantastic but the festival itself doesn't seem great whereas Mysteryland production and vibes look amazing, even if there are very few artists we're familiar with on the day we can make it. Also a little concerned that it's difficult to find much information on Mysteryland, especially for how long it's been around. Haven't been to Tomorrowland but we have done EDCLV. My own stupid fault. I wanted these tickets so bad that I let myself be vulnerable. I wanted to make you all aware of reddit user ulfric_stormcloack and to not do any business with them. What happened: I missed out on tickets for the Dr. Banana boat party at Dimensions 2022 so I posted in the pinned ticket post looking for 2 tickets. He hit me up and we agreed to 2 tickets for $65. He requested Zelle. This is where I messed up. Never send Zelle to someone you don't know - learned a lesson here. After I sent he was like "I thought you wanted 2?" That's when I knew I had F'd up. We were very clear I wanted two tickets. - Anyway he was like I can't see 2 for $65. SO I told him to send my Money back and He has now completely ghosted me. --- I know part of this is my own fault and I learned a $65 lesson. So I’m going to a festival next week and I’m wanting to bring my weed vape in. I have the yocan uni pro 2.0. I would really like to be able to sneak it in in a full proof way. Was gonna hide it in my underwear since that’s the best place to hide stuff especially if you’re a chick.
