Hey. I caught a real interest in Amphi Festival, but I saw that it hasn't been held in 2020 and 2021 due to covid. Are there any real chances for the concert to be held this year? I’ve come across some tickets in London, to which they are retailing for 20-40£ (Sold Out). I’ve gone on SeeTickets, to see them selling for £0 - with 10 tickets up for grabs. I’ve since received the tickets, to which I can confirm both a barcode/QR Code has been given. It just doesn’t make any sense to as to why they’re free….. Is this common amongst venues, that they give away a few tickets? Surely this has to be legit tho? I mean, heck, you can have someone fainted next to you in a huge festival, but no matter how often you may waive your arms or shout for help, the security guards won't notice. I live in New Orleans and have attended Jazzfest for most of my life. The lineup this year has a lot of repeat acts from prior years so I am contemplating going to Atlanta during 1st weekend instead. Both Sweetwater 420 and Shaky Knees festivals have better lineups in my opinion. I've never seen Green Day, Oysterhead, or Billy Idol. I would love to be able to buy daily passes for both but Sweetwater only has the weekend pass. Sweetwater also hasn't announced who is playing which day. Does anyone know if Sweetwater will offer daily tickets? I'm also wrestling with if it is worth taking 3 days off of work for travel time to go to Atlanta when I can stay home, skip 1st Friday and take no days off. Lodging is a non-issue for me in Atlanta. I will also be at Jazzfest 2nd weekend, wristband purchased two years ago. It's a quick turnaround for two different festivals in different cities on back to back weekends. So I am super intrigued by festivals like Groove Cruise and Friendship. The amenities and overall experience look incredible, plus the chance to rub elbows with artists who are staying on the ship. Sounds amazing. HOWEVER…I have never been on a ship that large and am low key a little afraid at the idea of sailing into open ocean/out of view of land. It's pretty obvious on most news headlines that by this point everyone is sus about this festival. I was actually super stoked, then confused when I saw it was only one day, but still excited. After seeing all the post and news articles presenting information that is leaning toward it being more like a fyre festival money grab rather than a punk rock bowling or EDC flow and positive feeling to it I'm like 80% sure I'm planning to get my ticket Friday but fuckkkkk if I'm not skeptical. So my boyfriend of two years who I started dating around the pandemic gets upset and uncomfortable when I go to festivals or concerts and usually ends up with some type of fight or argument while i’m out. He has expressed to me how he’s not interested in going to them with me because he has anxiety problems and he doesn’t think he would enjoy a long three day festival like I do. I’ve been going to festivals and concerts since before him and I dated and some of the festivals I booked were postponed until after covid and i booked when before we started dating. We normally have talks before I go where I do everything I can to reassure him and make him feel comfortable but still usually there is some sort of argument or tension when i’m there and i feel like i can never fully enjoy myself until i out my phone away. His main issue is that in the past at the beginning of our relationship I would be really bad at texting back if i was with my friends and i didn’t really understand until ...

I love being able to put my hammock up and lay out while I listen to live music. I’ve been to some pretty hammock friendly fests but I’d love to find more. I went to Elements last year and that was hammock heaven. looking for those perfect smallish- medium size fests. I've been to Peach many times and loved it, but it's just way too big. looking for fests bigger than South Jersey's Camp Jam but nowhere near the size of Peach.
