Festival Wishes

I'm going to a two-day electronic music festival in September. The line up is going to really good so I'd like to do psychedelics two days in a row and just dance and be nice to people while being mindful of my consumption habits and practice harm reduction. I've only done one-day music events where I either single dose candyflip for a festival, or I do 2CB or K for weeknight concerts or at night clubs. My plan for this festival is to candyflip either the Saturday or Sunday, but I have no idea what intoxicant to take for the other day. Related story: there was one weekend when I did a tab of LSD, then the next day I did 30mg of 2CB. I barely felt the 2CB other than the side effects. A friend of mine said it's generally not recommended to take LSD and 2CB within such a short timespan of each other, so I guess that's why I'm here asking for insight, including personal experiences and constructive criticism. I had a blast last weekend at the RV and renegade sound camping areas of Electric Forest! Spent nearly the whole weekend there. I have a decent sound system and would love to setup/host after parties next year at all the festivals I go to. Which American (preferably east coast) festivals make renegades part of their culture? Who is cool with someone just rolling up with massive speakers, carving out a big chunk of GA camping and going nuts? I’ve never been to a festival (going to lolla this year) but I plan to go to life is beautiful specifically to see arctic monkeys and I’m wondering how hard it will be to get a halfway decent position to watch their set? You can use the app when you attend an event to store your location periodically, the app will then match you with any media that is contributed to the platform that was recorded around where you were. So I don’t have a “crew” like so many people seem to; it’s just me and my fiancé. We just got back from our first festival (Sonic Bloom) and had an amazing time; already thinking about going back next year! We had so much fun in the campgrounds, wandering around, checking out the art, doing some of the yoga and workshops, lots of hammocking, and dancing so I feel bad for being a little disappointed - I really thrive off of being in the crowd and catching lots of sets, whereas my fiancé wants to hit maybe one or two sets a day and mostly stay in the back. The one non-negotiable for me was being in a good spot for Tipper and I got that, but apparently the crowd was too much for him and he was miserable to whole time so it really retroactively tainted my experience. If we had a bigger crew maybe we’d be more okay with occasionally splitting up, but since it was just us he wasn’t comfortable leaving me in crowds by myself or anything like that. Not sure what I’m necessarily getting at...

Hello hello, I’m looking to go to a 3-day festival in the summer. But I’ve got ME/CFS, and I am worried it’ll be too much and I’ll either a) burn out on my first day or b) cause a months-long crash. Hey hey, I recently went to a festival with about 100k people and managed to be in the second closest area and I could move fine but there’s an upcoming concert with about 17k people and I want to go first row for the first time ever. Is it very tight there? And can you get out worst case? For reference it’s not some hardcore band but because I love it a lot I planned on going very far into the front. I was on two waitlists and was awarded tickets for both dates and only need the one set. I've been going to High Sierra for the last 10 years, this year I need a ride there from SF Bay area there and back. I'm meeting a crew of friends there but they all moved out of the bay during the pandemic. I don't have too much stuff; a tent, easy up, cooler, duffel bag and a collapsible wagon. If someone has room for me I can pay for gas there and back! I've been developing an iPhone app for the past few years with the goal of bringing the rave/festival/concert/con crowd online. The point of the app is for eventgoers to meet other attendees (leading up to, during, and after live events) in a setting made for that sort of thing. You can find attendees worldwide or filter them by distance from you or distance from the venue (supposing you're flying to an event and want to meet local attendees). You can also filter people by age and gender, if that's what you're looking for. Version 1 is done and needs to be beta tested before it goes in the App Store. I've populated the app with just 5 attractions (42 events) for this test and everyone appears to be in Moonrise Festival which is coming up in a couple of months, so that's likely where you would want to go if you want to get a good feel for the app. So if you're over 18, have an iPhone running at least iOS 13 (Android coming later), and want to beta test thi...

I'd love to hear the music while I'm at the local bar, without having a audio sensory overload. They do live music of different genre's but it's generally pretty loud to be heard everywhere. I also get fucked over when the pinball machines let out a loud pop to notify the person directly next to it, and the entire building, that that person won a free game. Anywho, Festival goer's seem to be face with louder than a bar's music, music; and I wanted your recommendations on Earplugs. The foam things always fall out, I have that common problem.
