I understand that police have the power to fully strip you if they have reasonable suspicion you are possessing drugs. How likely is it that they would actually do this? I read an article that over 60 people were caught bringing drugs into a festival last summer. This makes me nervous that they will find the drugs hidden next to my balls. After attending beyond wonderland this past weekend it’s quite apparent that some artists will play the same exact set as their previous shows and along with that comes their visuals that are almost always synchronized with the beat and displayed at the perfect moment. (Ex: Seven lions’ visuals during his original songs always told a story, clearly were made for the song currently being played, and were triggered to play as soon as the song began to play). Another example being excision of course. That being said, my question is who is responsible for controlling ALL of these artists’ visuals in the festival scene? Clearly, one VDJ can’t memorize when to activate certain visuals at specific times to correctly sync the beat drop for EVERY. SINGLE. DJ.... So, does that every top tier DJ have their own hired VDJ that also hops on the controls for the duration of their set? Does this all get discussed during sound check? Any other relatable info? Like I found it a while ago a Toyo matsuri and I read it was in a central city in latin america bizarrely, but shockingly and disappointment I can't find any info or articles on other locations of other countries or if it's in America and Japan any festivals called a Toyo matsuri, but was there any in other continents of Toyo Matsuri in other Japanese diasporas living in other countries or was Toyo matsuri from Japan or outside of latin america?? I even read a title saying Toyo matsuri was made in Japan, really, is that so? I was at a festival a few years back and I came across this dude who was laying on top of a glow in the dark blanket, pretty cool. But what made this blanket so amazing was that you were able to draw on the blanket with a laser pointer, so whatever you drew with the laser stayed on the blanket for a few minutes. I remember back in 2013-15 there was a big festival bubble happening where so many people were throwing events that weren't necessarily profitable but they were fun as hell, felt underground/ more intimate and like disappeared quickly. You could literally just look up on jambase and music festival wizard (formerly known as Music Festival Junkie) and book up your whole summer with packed weekends. Hey everyone, I’m now a real estate agent and don’t have the time to bop around at each festival like I use to. So I’ve been looking through the sub to get an updated list of bricks/chargers that people are using for festival camping, but haven’t been able to find any that were recent. Do you guys have any big charging bricks or even small, portable chargers that you like to use? Going to be hitting LIB in May and wanted to see what y’all would use for camping for 4 days. Would be using it to charge a portable speaker, a bunch of phones, etc. Don’t know if it makes sense to just get a couple smaller bricks or a big unit. Pretty open as far as price range goes. I will be traveling to Germany in the summer and there is a festival that I want to attend while I'm there (Rockharz Open Air). The only issue is that when I'm creating an account to purchase a ticket from the festival site, I can't pick the United States (where I live) as a country in the address section. Who’s been? Who’s going?! After two years of postponement, I am so bloody excited to finally go for the first time this year!
