Basically title. I’m going to my first festival this year and one thing I’m a little nervous about is wanting to have a semi-decent (not in the front, but just somewhere in the middle) spot for the headliner and I’m just wondering how people manage to hold onto their spot for the hours leading up to whoever they want to see. I currently go to zero festivals at the moment. I make $14/hr doing day labor. I earn about $2000 per month. I managed to go to EDC 2019 but I scraped pennies working two jobs to attend and I didn't feel like my experience was as good as it should have been for my first vacation becauseI worked so hard to go . Also it was the only festival I could attend that year besides the one in my hometown. (Denver.) Anyone have any good experience / advice buying a tent online? Always bought in person but a friend of mine lives very close to the venue and I'm traveling alone across country (trains). Hello! My gf and I are thinking on going to Europe and I saw that the Baltic Open and the Summer Breeze would be an option during our voyage! We love rock, metal and folk so either baltic or summer would be awesome! I've found the lineup for each day for the Summer Breeze Festival, and the prices seem pretty expensive (70 or 80 euros)! I just attended one day of my first festival (Forecastle Festival) and my feet and back were absolutely KILLING me by the end! The only shoes I had were Vans, and I blame their lack of support for my pain. I couldn't imagine going the full 3 days in those. So what kind of shoes do regular festival-goers swear by? I've seen all kinds from combats to sneakers to platforms to cowboy boots to sandals, and I'm curious what other people like to wear to keep their feet happy for 3 days of walking and dancing. Hey everyone I want to attend ADE 2022 in October but Ive heard it isn't worth it to buy the ticket? Right now, the official website lists only one ticket option, the Pro Pass for an early Bird rate of 500 euro for 5 days. I will only be in Amsterdam for the weekend, so I don't need access to all 5 days nor am I really interested in the online network subscription and the backpack and what not. I do want to attend the weekend parties though. Ive never been to ADE. Does anyone have any ADE experience? Should I buy the 500 euro ticket or is there a better option for my needs? Hello to one and all :-) I was planning to attend Awakenings 2022 on Saturday 30th July - only for single day. However I came across this festival called as Suikkerrock in Tienen in Belgium which will be having The Chemical Brothers as their main artist. This festival is also on the same day as Awakenings on Saturday 30th July. I do not know much about the other artists or about the festival . I think it is a local festival which is popular in Belgium. Has anyone attended the Suikkerrock festival before ? How is it ? Going to a concert this Saturday which was sold out on Eventbrite. Had to go to a third party reseller, which I chose vivid seats, to purchase my pair of tickets. The tickets were immediately emailed to me via PDF. In the past, if I couldn't buy it directly from Eventbrite, I'd would buy from someone on the FB event page and request them to change the ticket info to my name and email and it would show up in my app. Is it possible to add it to the app? Someone handed me these glasses, which I forget what they were called, but the lenses were off the charts for the type of diffraction they were. You could still see normal so it wasn't like the gem stone cut fractal lenses, but they were also better than any normal plastic cheap ones I've ever seen. What's up with the long list of rules for Big Fam? I know Michigan is a conservative "red state" but still? I was hoping to attend with my small camper, but no generator, no campfire, no grilling, the list goes on and on, seems overly harsh makes me think skip it instead. My friend and I went to Forbidden Kingdom for just Friday and had the time of my life. It was my first festival and I enjoyed every set, the vibe, and everything. I really want to start going to more and traveling is out of the question for now so I have to stick to FL festivals. I know EDC Orlando is coming up soon and I'd love to go for all 3 days, I'd like to have someone to go with and split a bnb or hotel with, and I have moderate anxiety in large gatherings. Unfortunately, most of the friends I have, aren't really into that music and don't want to spend the money for a festival they won't enjoy, understandable. Hi there, I hope this is the right place to ask this question but I’m trying to prepare in advance for mine and my partner’s first ever festival. We will be going to Maple House Festival in Pittsburgh and I’m reading up on their FAQ’s website… 2 questions I have since reading up on their FAQ’s… They have a single-compartment backpack, no larger than 12”x12”x6” rule.. okay, single-compartment, fine but… Question 1: How strict and enforced are the exact dimensions of the bags? There’s one that I am looking at that is 16.5”x11.6”x4.3”. To me, it doesn’t seem like a big deal but I really want to enjoy my first festival and I don’t want to start it on a bad note. & from their website “No smoking. (Hartwood Acres is a smoke-free environment. Cigarettes can be carried in, but out no-smoking policy is very strict)”.
